Bowling With LYS #2

Oh my goodness I am so mad at myself because when I uploaded my pictures on here the first time the lighting was really bad on them so I have to take them all off again and start over so here's some more pictures. Actually I'm not going to put any more on here. But let me think.... I got my bible camp form today so I filled them out that was fun thinking about what camp will be like this year. Oh yea and Stephanie I really think that you should come to camp. Flooding I think is down, let me check on that..... yay it's down to 38 feet it's highest level was 40.62 feet. you can see more about the flood here. Well Matt is bugging me to get on the computer so I'll post more later.

Bowling With LYS

Sorry I haven't posted for a couple of days. Yesterday the church youth group went bowling and then we went to Dairy Queen for a quick meeting. Laura V. took pictures for me and when she first got my camera it was on video so I have I video of Briley S. getting a gutter ball. Ha! Ha!

FLOOD WARNING!!!

We have some major floods going on at some places near Oklee, Fargo is like 2 hours away. There is also a lot of flooding in Grand Forks but I don't have pictures of that. These pictures are from Fargo.



This one is how high the flood was at 5:00pm yesterday. Right now its at 40ft.
Mom and I were hoping to go to Grand Forks this next week but we probably won't. You can probably guess why not. Ha!! Ha!! Well more later.

Pizza Kits

My youth Group sold pizza kits for a fund raiser and they to delivered this morning. The kits were supposed to arrive at noon today but for some reason they got here at 10:00 and one of the advantages of being a home schooler is I get to sleep in I got up like 15 minutes before the river dropped them off. He called dad to get directions to our house when he was about ten minuets away and so I called Barb C. and told her that the kits were almost here. Barb drove over here and now we have the pizza kits so those of you who ordered we will be getting you your kits. Oh ya one more thing our Youth Group sold 70 kits. Busy

Today we have been very busy. Mom let us sleep in and that was great, but it also ment a late start. There isn't much exciting going on that I can think of. We got up ate breakfast and did chores and school. One of the advanteges of pulling a muscul is that mom doesn't make me do as much work. Then this afternoon mom and I went into town to take down the signs for a fund raiser that our youth group had been doing and after that we went over to our friends house to pick up our azure standard order that gets delivered to thier house. Well I should be going so more later.

Going to State!!!

Yay!! The RLCC girls Basketball team is going to state!! And they will win!! Because they rock!! Well at least hopefully they will. Today my neck feels much better, and I hope it will keep getting better. I'm in the middle of making rice pudding for breakfast, so I better check it to make sure it's not burning. All the little kids are still sleeping (that's good). And I really have nothing more to say, so today it's a short post. Maybe if there is more news later I will come on and do another post.

Ouch

Today has been kind of boring around the Abrahamson household. Earlier I as downstairs and I stood up and popped my neck you know cu-runch. And there was a weird noise then this sudden pain all down the left side of my body. I could hardly move. About 15 minutes later I decided it hurt bad enough I should probably tell mom about it. So I hobbled upstairs slowly the pain was still there. Mom called dad and dad came up to the house right away. And he felt my neck and apparently I stretched a muscle in my neck. And it still hurts really bad. So I can't really do anything right now except sit because it hurts so bad. But anyways besides that nothing happened today, at least not that I know about. But I should go get ready for Catechism class.

Winkel

Today we had Winkel at our house. Winkel is a meeting where all the pastors in our synod who have churches near here get together and sometimes the pastors kids come with if they are home schooled. Anyways some of the girls who usually come were sick today so they couldn't come and we missed them but Marissa T. and I got along pretty well today and we had fun.



Marissa and I were doing our makeup really crazy and we dyed our hair with like some wash out stuff. I'm not sure what we were supposed to be but we had fun and that's the important part.

Also after dinner we got the big box that our new stove came in and used it for sliding off a little cliff of snow we have in our yard and into a big puddle of water it was so much fun. Until we got this awesome idea we started going head first off the cliff of snow and that kind of knocked the air out of me.

At my Grandparents house

Now about the trip to grandma's house. On Thursday afternoon around 3:00pm we left for grandma's house. First we had to go to the library in Red Lake Falls to pick up some books and stuff. We left the library at 5:00pm and started the five hour ride to grandma's. We got there around 11:00pm and went to bed right away. When we woke up the next morning we found out that our great grandparents were going to stop by and see us at noon, and we had a nice visit with them. Then around 5:30pm we got to the carnival and saw some friends, played games, and ate food. We got back to grandma's around 8:00pm and then left the next day around noon. I have a video to put up ffrom our stay but I have to ask dad about how to upload them. Well thanks for having us at your house Grandpa and Grandma it was good seeing you.

Carnival

Ok I have a few more pictures from grandma's house but I'm in a rush so I can't put them up right now this picture is of the R I got painted on my face the reason it's an R is for the E.C.H.O Rockets. They didn't do paw prints this year so I got an R instead.













This picture is of after I tried to wash off the R and it kind of smeared a little and so I helpd it smear some more. Ha Ha!! mom needs my help now and I will tell you more about our trip in a couple hours.

Leaving

Finally we are getting ready to go to grandma's house and I don't know if I will be able to post, it just depends. Because I will be at grandpa's house and I don't know if grandpa will let me use his computer. I should be back by Sunday oh yea and Trisha I'm going to get my face painted again with Prowler paw prints. Sorry to the rest of you who don't know what I'm talking about. Well I should be going to help mom get stuff ready to go so talk to you later.

Winter Storm Results

Well here are the results from the storm yesterday. This picture is of Elise and Sophie they are standing on the drift by our swing set.












This picture is Elsie standing in the drift and the cliff thing behind her is like six feet tall. Way to much snow. Right away this morning Kyle came and plowed the parking lot. And then this afternoon mom went into town to get some stuff.

Blizzard

OK, this is just going to be a quick post. Anyways, Stephanie we should definitely get together. To the people who asked, yes, I made the hats that Donna and Stella have on in the picture. I have a business making hats for people and -believe it or not- people actually pay money for them. Well let me see what else has been going on, well northern Minnesota is in the middle of a snow storm it's a big blizzard; and it feels like I'm never going to be able to dig my way out of my house. Ha Ha so maybe it's not quite that bad but still it's a bad storm. On Thursday My family and I are going down to my brother Jeremy's school to a carnival, and that will be FUN. So I can't wait till then. Busy

Today has been very busy. I got up at 8:45 and mom was the only person up she had Elsie and Me make muffins for breakfast and they were very dry for some unknown reason. Then by the time we were done with cleaning up from breakfast it was late like 10:30 or something like that. So us kids got right to school and for those of you who don't know mom home schools all of us kids except Jeremy, my oldest brother. Well now at 2:45 we haven't even eaten lunch. Oh well dad's working on that right now, And it smells delicious. Any ways I'm finally putting pictures on here from my birthday.

Today (Sunday)

Today, is Sunday. So I got up very tired, and I went to church, and with the time change I missed an hour of needed sleep, but caught up on that during church, just kidding dad. Then my friend Holly called and she invited Elsie, Clara, and Me over, so that was fun. While we were at Holly's house we played out side for along time and Alan, Holly's dad, pulled us on sleds, it was so much fun Holly so thanks for having us over. Earlier today our stove kind of busted so mom and dad were in town looking for a new one and I think that they found a nice one. Well that is about all I think.

After my Birthday

Ok, let me think for a minute.....

Last night I opened my presents for my birthday and I got a volleyball!! Plus a lot of other things which I liked. This morning Elsie, Clara, Sophie, and I went outside and played volleyball it was fun but now my arms hurt. And it made me miss bible camp. Well I think thats all that I have to say for now, it's not to exciting today.

Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday, and since we were to busy to celebrate then, today is when I get my party. Um let me think yesterday I had piano lessons and I passed all the songs, so anyways dad let me get a blog and here's my first post!! well tonight I will open my presents, and have a birthday dinner. I will try to get some pictures up soon. Well that's all I can write for now because Donna is sitting on my lap and making it difficult to type any more.
