LYA

LYA is Lutheran Youth Association, Is confirmed-graduated Matt and Jeremy went this year and I will go next year. It's one weekend long but since it is in WA this year the bus left Tuesday and is getting back Monday so it's almost a whole week. All the youth from our synod or their friends who are the right age can go. At the LYA convention they do many different things like bible study, rock climbing, ect. but also there are counselors and pastors to keep people out of trouble. I don't know many details but I do know that I can't wait to go next year.

Fair again this year...

This year I went to the Pennington county fair with Whitney N. and I bought a day pass so I could get on all the rides that I wanted as many times as I wanted. Here's some some of the rides that I went on.

Ring of Fire I found a good picture of this ride at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/21684795@N05/2809491846/

Power Tower, it was so freaky they bring you up 40ft and then drop you down fast then the ride slows down right before the bottom so you don't get brain damage.

Hi Roller, a very fun ride but I couldn't find any good pictures of it.

Zero Gravity, a fun ride and I found a picture:

There were lot's of other rides but I can't remember all the names for them but I had a lot of fun and I'm glad I could go (even though I spent $50 at the fair counting my ride pass).

Life, I know I need to get some more ideas for post titles

So Where did I leave off last post...........Oh the wedding.

On Saturday I had to waitress for a wedding and that went till 7:30 or so and then I went to babysit two cute little boys oh and for Larissa (the mom of the two kids who I think reads my blog), Noah has a really funny pout face his lip goes out half an inch. I got back babysitting around 1:00am and went strait to bed.

In the morning dad woke me up at 6:00 and I went to church at St. Petri because I needed to go to help out at an auction Sunday at 9:45 and Oak Park service isn't till 11:00. At the auction I was helping Hannah E. with her lemonade stand. I got back from the auction around 7:00pm and made myself supper 'cause mom and dad and the rest of the kids were at a anniversary party. After supper I went to bed but I think I IMed some of my friends for awhile before bed, so I guess if I was tired it was my fault.

Okay and for Bible camp....

I don't know how long I will be able to work on my blog for because I have a wedding i need to go to later and I still need to get ready.

At camp I got there being kind of disappointed cause I wasn't in the cabin I wanted to be in.

I had lots of fun at camp but I don't remember much from each day but I will tell you the things that are either interesting, funny, or dumb.

Sunday night I had to go to the hospital because a girl from my cabin had either sprained really bad or broken her foot, we got back from that at about 1:00am and didn't get to bed till about 2:30am.

Monday I don't think that there was anything very interesting that happened on Monday.

Tuesday same as Monday life, life, and more just life at camp.

Wednesday, I went horse back riding and the horse I was riding sat down in the middle of the water cause it got hot and it started to roll around (with me on it) I had to jump of really quick into 2ft deep mud/water though I really didn't mind getting wet and dirty. Also on Wednesday it was skit night but that's about all.

Thursday, was the summer Olympics at camp and we did stuff like relay races and belly flops. Then at night we had the banquet which took a lot of time to get ready for. After the banquet was the moonlight walk.

Friday was packing and leaving day. Goooood-bye.

Today there is a wedding that I'm a waitress for and then I'm baby sitting till probably midnight or later.

I'll write more later but I don't know when cause it's summer.

BIBLE CAMP IS DONE ALREADY!?!?!?!?!

Today I got back from Bible camp, and I don't have time to post much about what happened because I stayed up till 4:00am last night and then I had to get up this morning at about 7:30. So I'm really tired. I guess my body isn't used to living off 3 and a half hours of sleep.
This is of Elsie's arm after we got back I guess she wanted every one to sign her arm in big black permanent markers, when we got home mom said it's coming off before she goes any where.

This is of my friend Allison and Me, The yellowish green thing in my mouth is a hand full of chewed up skittles.

This picture is of Hesston-the guy who I went on the moonlight walk with- and Me I didn't know whether I should put it on my blog cause I knew I would get some rude comments from certain people but Hesston and I are just friends

This pic is from this skit night it is Elsie's cabin's beautiful make up job.

On the 4th....

Today as you probably all know is the 4th of July so happy 4th every one. This morning we celebrated it by going to a parade which was fun.

This afternoon Elsie and I finished packing for camp which is tomorrow we started yesterday which I would have liked to start sooner but I went shopping Thursday night and I needed to wait till after shopping to finish packing.

Thursday, the Jacobsens left and then in the afternoon the family went to Bemidji and had a picnic with some of dad and moms old friends that they hadn't seen for like 13 years. They have a daughter who is my age and she and I got along pretty good even though we are complete opposites. After the picnic we went shopping and Noelle-mom's friend's daughter- and I got a manicure. Mom's friend has a blog at larsonquest.blogspot.com.

the 4th

HAPPY FORTH OF JULY EVERYONE!!
