I had one of the best weeks of my life this last week. On last Monday Barb brought me and the rest of the LYA people from our church down to Mankato. We went to Kay Millers house, Kay organized almost everything for the bus trip and a lot for LYA, she is a wonderful person! At Kays she told us all where we would be staying the night. Sammy and I ended up staying with our wonderful camp cabin mate Brittany, at another cabin mate Martha's house.
The next morning we left from Mt. Olive at 6:30am. WAY to early for me but at least we got to Virginia. That night we stopped at a church in Ohio and had pizza, devotion then went to bed.
That day we got to sleep in we didn't have to leave till 7:00 -by the way for those of you who don't know me that well I'm being sarcastic about sleeping in- :). We arrived to go White Water rafting a little after noon. White Water Rafting was a BLAST!! It was so much fun I definitely recommend it if u have an extra $50 laying around and you are in the area.
The next day we got to Virginia Beach early so we stopped at First landing state park. It is beautiful there and really HOT. But that's okay by me because I love heat, sun and the ocean. After we left there we went to the collage Norfolk State University the campus is wonderful and the dorms are so nice.
On Friday we went to Virginia Beach and Boardwalk. That place is amazing the beach is so beautiful and the waves are amazing. Stuff is pretty well priced not cheap but not to spendy. And I got a tattoo, one of the temporary ones the like dye your skin for two months. Well don't trust them mine lasted four days. It was really cute though and I think when I turn eighteen I'm going to get one.
Saturday we went to the Jamestown settlement and the to a cruise ship. It was really fun there was a dance on the cruise and we ate pizza, played cards and danced.
We left Sunday after church and headed to Washington DC it took FOREVER to get there but it was worth it. We got out and walked around a bit we saw the white house and walked to several of the memorials. It's really pretty layout there and if you've never been there I suggest it.
In the end it's not the years in your life that count, but the life in your years. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ally Ally Ally ally oom qua quee.. we're the Indianheaders Ally ally oomqua
Last sunday I left for camp Indianhead I rode with one of my good friends Brittany. The ride was fun but it seemed to take forever because we wanted to get there.
Thursday was the banquet almost everyone dressed up for that.
Above my cabin being crazy.
My cabin everybody looked beautiful! Above.
My gorgeous counselor Gloria and me. Above.
We also had Olympics on Thursday. My team won!!
Brittany and me hot and tired at the Olympics. Above
Brooke and me also at the The Olympics. Above.
Kaylee and me. Sweaty but victorious three legged race champions.
On Wednesday was skit night our skit was rip offs of various broadway plays. I was the Vampire of the Cinema "Phantom of the Opera". My cabin got first place on our skit
Christine and the vampire. "Brittany and me".
Tuesday and Wednesday Lauren, Christina, and I went canoing. Tuesday it was beautiful outside with no wind so we expected Wednesday would be the same. We got out in our canoe and it was kinda hard to paddle but we could handle it because we were on the easy side of the Island. Once we got to the other side it was another story we had started out toward the front of all the kayaks, -we were the only ones canoing- but by that time we were at the end, the only person behind us was Maggie who was the counseler in charge of making sure everyone kept up.
Maggie eventually passed us and told us to hurry up. She waited at the next corner of the Island for us so we were in her line of sight. We weren't able to get anywhere because the wind was pulling us backwords. Maggie yelled at us to hurry several times but we tried yelling that we needed help but she couldn't hear us because she was up wind from us.
Finally she turned around and came back to see what was keeping us and we told her we could only go like a foot a minute. Maggie said "I know it's really hard but I'm going to need you girls to give it all your strength". We agreed gave it all our "strenth" and tipped over.
So we pushed the canoe swimming behind it up to the Island When we reached it we stood in the disgusting weeds and tipped the canoe over and dumped out the water. Maggie rode in the canoe with the other girls back and I took her kayak.

It's raining it's pouring....
We left for last Thursday with the intent of camping till Sunday. Thursday night my friends from Hawaii, Christina, her mom and her sisters -who were in Minnesota for awhile to visit some of her family- came to camp with us we went swimming that night and Grandpa and Grandma came to visit us. On Friday Morning we went on a hike to see Ramsey falls.
It is really pretty at that campground and they have lots of nice hiking trails.

There is also a zoo.

Friday afternoon Christina and her family left to go back to New Ulm Elsie and I went with them. That evening we went swimming and then the beach we were at, closed because of Thurnder storm warnings. Ann, Christina's mom, came to pick us up because she had seen the clouds. By the time we got into the car there were Tornado warnings we went to pick up pizza and went back to Christinas house.
We got some kind of big hail. Sorry the picture isn't that great.
Saturday Ann dropped us off at the campground and we got ready for dad's cousin Ambers wedding. After the wedding more Tornado Warnings. We cleaned up camp in the rain and went to Grandmas. That's all I have time to write now but later I'll tell you about camp.

Camera + other stuff =Life
My digital camera broke a few weeks ago but now I got a new one it's a Kodak and it's pretty nice. I just got it yesterday so I don't know what all it can do but it seems to take pretty good pictures and it plays videos with sound.
In a few weeks my kind of cousin Amber is getting married I think my family is hoping to go down to that wedding and then I have bible camp. I'm not sure about when I will go to Hawaii either in November or sometime this coming spring.

Without school....
I was glad when school was done for the year because then no more sitting in class. Plus I can sleep in, or work or whatever I feel like doing. But now I'm starting to wonder if there is anything better or more constructive that I should be doing rather than my awesome costumes....
This was kinda a cross between the phantom of the opera and two face... (above)
I was supposed to be a police but mom told me I looked more like some kind of a train engineer. (above)
The rest of these are from different things that I never got the pictures up.
This is from Prom. (below). It's of me and my beautiful friend Trishia B!!
This is from Whitney N.'s confirmation. (below).
Brooke and Me on our way to Itasca on Monday!
That's all for now but maybe I'll put some more pictures up sometime.
