Happy new years eve everyone!!!!! :)

Everyone better have an amazing new years eve tonight! Do something crazy! :)

Some of my aunts and uncles came over last night they brought their kids. All of the cousins who were here are younger than me. They are super cute though! My little cousin Taylor gave all of us nicknames last night. We watched football, and a bunch of the grown ups were bugging me about boys. I guess that's their jobs though. ;) It was kinda funny.

Today Inge and I made brownies! They are in the oven right now, and I'm watching Kourtney and Kim take New York, the best show ever! :) I should go check the brownies now though. Sorry this is such a short post, but nothing really has happened. My family and I are leaving Washington tomorrow after church. We are going to southern Minnesota to visit our grandparents on dads side! :)

Christmas and break..

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have had amazing blessed Christmases. :)

On Christmas day my family and I, excluding Matthew and Jeremy, left for Washington. We are currently staying and my Grandma E's house. It is a beautiful house and Elsie and I have a room for our selves with a tv, and sleep number bed, and our own bathroom. It's super nice! There is windows on both sides of the room looking out towards the mountains surrounding us. We are in East Wenatchee right in town. I don't really like the town personally. I realise how blessed I am to live in the country in a area with no traffic. The drivers around here and rude and don't even watch out for eachother. Yesterday my mom and I went to a fabric store to look for some yarn, and there was a truck sitting in the middle of the highway, right in town, trying to back up into a parking lot. We had to sit waiting for it for awhile and it was totally annoying.

I've been baking a lot. Yesterday Inge helped me make two cakes, it was her and Clara's birthdays. We made a chocolate cake and a pound cake, both gluten free. Today I'm making fun fetti cupcakes which are in the oven right now, they aren't gluten free though because we don't have any flour here.

After I'm done with the cupcakes, we are going out to visit different aunts and uncles that half of them I probably didn't even know exist. That should be interesting! I want to go skiing really bad. I think I'm going to have to wait till I get home to do that though. There isn't much snow around here. There's snow at the ski places but I don't think my mother, as coordinated as she is wants to bring me out and go skiing with me. It would be pretty funny to watch her though! :)

Vacation

For vacation this year we went to Duluth and stayed there for a few days and then headed up to Gunflint lake to stay with some family friends. It is totally beautiful there!! Several of us went for a really long hike thing it was like 5 miles, it was really fun!!

After that we went down to by Echo, Minnesota for the Thompson/Faugstad wedding that was really nice. Last Sunday I walked into Echo with Jeremy and Matt. Jeremy wanted to go see some of his school friends and I was going to see Brittany Boyum. It was great seeing Brittany and while I was at her house we had a blast. We stalked houses and people and rode bike around Echo. It was really fun!!

We got back monday really late and then Yesterday we had dentist appointments for several of the other kids. Today were busy unpacking and getting everything unpacked. Jeremys busy packing up for school. I think that's everything.

I'm back

yes I'm back I've been back for a week I've just been really busy. I'm going to update you on what has happened but I'm not going into any details. In Washington my Aunt Rachel and Uncle nick got married and they had a nice wedding and reception that I got to sing karaoke with my cousins at which was a lot of fun. After the wedding we went to Grandma E.s house and then from there we went to Grandma A.s house. When we finally got home grandpa and grandma A. came to our house to pick up Jeremy and all his stuff. On Monday the 31st we got all our cleaning and unpacking from vacation done. Then Tuesday I joined the Oklee volleyball team. On Wednesday I had VB practice in the morning I had to baby sit for mom in thee after noon and in the evening mom and I had to run into oklee for a meeting/open house thing with the school. Thursday I went school shopping and Friday had VB practice again by yesterday I slept the whole day, well not quite. And now it's today and I'm finally getting a chance to post.

Seeing Obama

On the second day of our vacation we were traveling from Billings, Montana to Ontario, Oragan. In Billings we stayed with some friends of dads and we found out from them that Presidant obama was doing some kind of speech in one of the towns that we were going through that day. And we also had heard that he was going to be in Yellowstone national park on saturday after the speech. There was a lot of constuction from billings to yellowstone and we had to stop for it many times. We were going a little slow compared to what the speed limit was because Sophie gets car sick on windy mountain roads. Mom would pull over occasionally so taht cars could pass us cause mom didn't want to hold up the traffic. One of the times mom was about to pull over we saw some flashing lights behind us. Mom pulled over quickly and let 2 police and 8-9 black bullit prof cars go racing past us. Mom told us that it may not have been the presidant but I knew it was becaause who else would it be? Later we found out that in West Yellowstone they had to hold up the traffic for an hour because it was the Presidant. That's our most exciting thing that has happend to me so far on vacation.

We will be getting back from vacation on the 27 I think.

1 day wow

Nothing much has happened on vacation. there is just one thing I would like to tell ya'll on Thursday we slowed down the President of the USA I'm not sharing any details yet -because the keyboard that I'm using stinks- I only wanted to brag that I had been ten yards away from the prez.

Washington summer 2009

Summer vacation is finally here!! We're leaving tomorrow at 5:00am and going to Washington and we will be stopping at a few places on the way. I'm in a hurry or I would make this post longer but Good night everybody and see you when we get back (or sometime). Oh and we will be getting back sometime in the next few weeks (we do have a exact date set for getting back but this way if I don't post right when I get back you won't know).

Summer??

Many of the people who read my blog are from MN if you are then you know that the summers here aren't really summer at all. this summer has been especially cold. Today is the hottest day of the week and it's only 77F. so it's really cold.

Even with all the cold weather we still have strawberries, raspberries, and rhubarb well right now it's raspberry season and we don't have very many raspberry bushes but we get LOTS of raspberries and today Elsie and I went out to pick raspberries and we got I think about 1 gal. and we left about half the berries still out there. I think mom's going to make us go out again later today but I'm not sure. If any one who reads my blog and lives close to us wants raspberries just let me know.

This week we are getting ready all Jeremy's clothes to bring down to grandma's house when some of us are going to a wedding in Morris on Friday.

Next week Wednesday I think is when we are leaving on vacation and so I don't know if I will be able to post on my blog at all till after vacation.

Also some other news, I might go to public school this year I've been home schooled all my life but I kind of want to do my high school years at a public school instead of at home. Plus mom said that if I go to school that I might be able to be in volleyball to and I've always wanted to be in volleyball.

I know the post tittle only has to do with one paragraph but I wanted to think of a tittle that I hadn't used yet. And I know I have lots of run on sentences well to bad for anyone who cares cause I'm not changing it, HAHA.

Life

The last week or so I haven't been doing much blogging so I'll try to do a really quick catch up on what has happened.

We left for grandparent's house on Saturday and we were heading to Amber's graduation on the way to grandma's house. Half way to Amber's out in the middle of no where we got a flat tire and we were literally out in the middle of no where we didn't know any one within a 60 mile area. Oh and plus we had no spare. So mom and Matt hiked to the nearest farm house no one was home so they went to the next one and guess what no one was home there either so finally at the third house there was some one home so he helped us change the tire get a new one and then we were on our way again but it wasn't till the graduation party was already done. So we went to Amber's house to visit with her for a little while even though the party was over. After that we went to our great grandparents house to talk to them for a little bit.

When we got up Sunday morning we got ready for church and left for that at 8:20 and left from church to go see some family friends who lived two hours away this picture is of their family and ours.

Leaving

As some of you already know my brother Jeremy goes to school down at a school by my grandparents house. Well now school's out it's time to pick him up so some of my family is going -me included- to pick up my brother so that's all but I won't be on for a few days so that's why.

Easter vacation post 2

Tuesday!!!

WE got up and ate pancakes for breakfast then played video games for awhile and went to the game room and I played this awesome hunting game and wasted a bunch of money on the games there.

Then after lunch mom and I went on a 2 mile walk up and down hills and we found this steep sand hill that after we got back then Elsie came with me and we climbed it. I have lots of pictures from the vacation but I don't have time to put them on right now.

After supper we watched a movie and had a campfire then went to bed.

Oh yeah and one more thing we did is at 10:00pm when we were "in bed" Elsie and I went to mom and dad's room and short-sheeted them it was funny.

Easter vacation post 1

Monday when I got up on Monday morning it was busy around my house grandma and grandpa were leaving and we were getting ready to leave for our vacation. After the grandparents left we packed our clothes and food for three days and then left.

It takes an hour and a half to get to the resort we went too and it's called "Rainbow Resort". With 11 people in the car that feels like forever there's a constant "how long till we get there mom??" or "mom John's pinching me tell him to stop". So Elsie and I told them when we were about 10min. away that we were "getting close and we only had 2 hours left" it was hilarious. The lake that the resort is on is called "Elbow Lake" so any lake we past on the way there we made up a name for and I think I remember all the funny names the funniest ones were....

Fat Forehead,
Tingly Tongue.
and
Shiny shin.
We had a lot more names but they weren't as fun.

Anyways we got there and if I put much more on this post my hand will get sore from typing.

Easter Vacation

One again we are going to have a After Easter Vacation.

Good things about it: we will have a game room all to our selves(we're the only ones who will be at the resort)
Bad things about it: WE will only be staying about 3 days.

Try to guess where we are going and if you can guess it you don't get a prize. Ha!! Ha!!

At my Grandparents house

Now about the trip to grandma's house. On Thursday afternoon around 3:00pm we left for grandma's house. First we had to go to the library in Red Lake Falls to pick up some books and stuff. We left the library at 5:00pm and started the five hour ride to grandma's. We got there around 11:00pm and went to bed right away. When we woke up the next morning we found out that our great grandparents were going to stop by and see us at noon, and we had a nice visit with them. Then around 5:30pm we got to the carnival and saw some friends, played games, and ate food. We got back to grandma's around 8:00pm and then left the next day around noon. I have a video to put up ffrom our stay but I have to ask dad about how to upload them. Well thanks for having us at your house Grandpa and Grandma it was good seeing you.

Leaving

Finally we are getting ready to go to grandma's house and I don't know if I will be able to post, it just depends. Because I will be at grandpa's house and I don't know if grandpa will let me use his computer. I should be back by Sunday oh yea and Trisha I'm going to get my face painted again with Prowler paw prints. Sorry to the rest of you who don't know what I'm talking about. Well I should be going to help mom get stuff ready to go so talk to you later.
