Update.

Next Monday I start school at Oklee. I'm going to do normal 9th grade till the semester break then I'm going to see if I can take some extra classes so I can graduate early. I'm back from Hawaii I got back a week ago. It was kinda funny mom went down to the airport a day early on accident she knew I was going home on Wednesday so she thought I'd get back that day but I didn't get back till Thursday. Tuesday was Elsie's school choir concert. I took my school pictures in Hawaii, that was kinda cool! yea that's about all the news. Oh and I learned how to surf in Hawaii!

I can't believe I haven't posted yet while I've been here. We've been doing alot. The Haslerhansons are a very nice and fun family, they've taken me to several places and things. The first day I got here they met me at the airport with a buncha Leis! Then we went back to thier house I got all my stuff settled and then off to the Hickim beach. Since then we've done many things the second night I was here we went to a Luau and it was amazingly fun! At the Luau there was a Tree climber and many Hula dancers it was a very exciting night!

While I've been here we've done a ton of fun stuff! We went to the theater and saw a really funny movie but I forgot the name of it.

We went to the zoo in Waikiki which was fun!

We went to another beach but I don't remember what the name was. We've been to two malls and had two movie nights with a buncha friends and then had two sleepovers with one of Christinas friends Kaellah!

Yesterday we went to Pearl Harbor and went on the USS Missouri and had a tour of that. Then last night Mr Haselerhanson came home so I got to meet him! Then we went to Subway for supper.

I think thats everything we've done so far but I'm not sure. I'll try to update it again in a few days!

brief news flash..

Sorry I havent posted for awhile. I just dont really have any news. Mom and dad buchered the last of the chickens today. I leave for Hawaii in 20 days. I'm still not sure where I'm going to school when I get back. I do have a new idea tho I might go to a school in Iowa and stay with one of my friends there. I'd be able to take some tenth grade classes I think and then finish up my nineth grade ones. Mkk thats about all I have for news.

Another insignificant post in History

Wow it's been along time since I posted on here.

Since I last posted many things have happened but I'm sure I'm not going to remember them all. First off School started.

This year all my school aged siblings are going to public school. I'm still at home though I may start school again about second quarter but I'm not sure about it. The reason I'm at home is because I can't skip three weeks of school when I go to Hawaii. The reason I might now go back to school is because I'm thinking about working towards graduating early.

Yesterday Sunday school started but that didn't effect me this year. Last night we had a youth group meeting to plan the shootout for this year.

The shootout is scheduled for next Saturday, hopefully it will be fun!

Oh and one more thing I'm going to be Lady Gaga for Halloween.

Hawaii.

I'm going to Hawaii. Mom helped me order my tickets today! All day today and yesterday ive been bugging mom about it and so today she helped me get them I have $615 right now and the tickets cost me $685 but I'll earn the money and pay mom back soon! I'm pretty much psyched! In a few weeks is the LYA convention. Now I just have one thing to decide. What I should do about school. either home school the whole year or oklee half and home school half. I"M NOT SURE! well that's all for now.

It's raining it's pouring....

We left for last Thursday with the intent of camping till Sunday. Thursday night my friends from Hawaii, Christina, her mom and her sisters -who were in Minnesota for awhile to visit some of her family- came to camp with us we went swimming that night and Grandpa and Grandma came to visit us. On Friday Morning we went on a hike to see Ramsey falls.

It is really pretty at that campground and they have lots of nice hiking trails.







There is also a zoo.





Friday afternoon Christina and her family left to go back to New Ulm Elsie and I went with them. That evening we went swimming and then the beach we were at, closed because of Thurnder storm warnings. Ann, Christina's mom, came to pick us up because she had seen the clouds. By the time we got into the car there were Tornado warnings we went to pick up pizza and went back to Christinas house.

We got some kind of big hail. Sorry the picture isn't that great.

Saturday Ann dropped us off at the campground and we got ready for dad's cousin Ambers wedding. After the wedding more Tornado Warnings. We cleaned up camp in the rain and went to Grandmas. That's all I have time to write now but later I'll tell you about camp.

Camera + other stuff =Life

My digital camera broke a few weeks ago but now I got a new one it's a Kodak and it's pretty nice. I just got it yesterday so I don't know what all it can do but it seems to take pretty good pictures and it plays videos with sound.

In a few weeks my kind of cousin Amber is getting married I think my family is hoping to go down to that wedding and then I have bible camp. I'm not sure about when I will go to Hawaii either in November or sometime this coming spring.

My life has been busy and I haven't posted since New Years sooooo.....

I'm in a three act play I auditioned two weeks ago. In the play I'm a flirty old lady, and my role is really funny. Last Friday I had to skip school because I was to sick. I've been sick all weekend and it stinks. Today I went to school but I had to call mom to come pick me up because I didn't feel good again. Now I've been resting off and on all morning.
I have some exciting news!! I'm hoping to go to Hawaii this fall to visit my good friend Christina Haslerhanson!! Mom said I have to pay for it all my self but I've been saving about half a year and right now I have $200. Of course I need about $500 but if I work hard enough I'm sure I can earn enough money.
More exctiting news!! I'm also hoping to go to Virginia this summer on the LYA convention. So this summer I'm going to have alot of fun things to keep me busy. Along with the Oklee Centenial and Bible Camp.
It's been really nice out so far this spring right now it's 51 degrees out. I should go now though because I'm home sick from school so i should be resting.
