Update.

Next Monday I start school at Oklee. I'm going to do normal 9th grade till the semester break then I'm going to see if I can take some extra classes so I can graduate early. I'm back from Hawaii I got back a week ago. It was kinda funny mom went down to the airport a day early on accident she knew I was going home on Wednesday so she thought I'd get back that day but I didn't get back till Thursday. Tuesday was Elsie's school choir concert. I took my school pictures in Hawaii, that was kinda cool! yea that's about all the news. Oh and I learned how to surf in Hawaii!

I can't believe I haven't posted yet while I've been here. We've been doing alot. The Haslerhansons are a very nice and fun family, they've taken me to several places and things. The first day I got here they met me at the airport with a buncha Leis! Then we went back to thier house I got all my stuff settled and then off to the Hickim beach. Since then we've done many things the second night I was here we went to a Luau and it was amazingly fun! At the Luau there was a Tree climber and many Hula dancers it was a very exciting night!

While I've been here we've done a ton of fun stuff! We went to the theater and saw a really funny movie but I forgot the name of it.

We went to the zoo in Waikiki which was fun!

We went to another beach but I don't remember what the name was. We've been to two malls and had two movie nights with a buncha friends and then had two sleepovers with one of Christinas friends Kaellah!

Yesterday we went to Pearl Harbor and went on the USS Missouri and had a tour of that. Then last night Mr Haselerhanson came home so I got to meet him! Then we went to Subway for supper.

I think thats everything we've done so far but I'm not sure. I'll try to update it again in a few days!

Homecoming

I went to school in the morning and it was a half day with a pep fest with games and stuff. We had a bunch of female teachers do a football routine and then we had tug a war and flickerball and then we did some stuff like one person in each class had to get there hair covered in shaving cream and then formed! Then another game where we had someones face covered in whipped cream and then some one would throw Cheetos and try to get them stuck on the face. I think there was another game but I don't remember it. But yea I had a blast! I didn't have to be in any of the games so I could watch them all! Then after school Sammy W. and I went to our friend Alysa K's house and we watched movies and walked around town in till time to get ready for the game.

We won the game by a lot I'm not sure what the exact score was though I think it was like 5-1 touchdowns or something like that. Then we had the dance it was really fun!

After the dance I spent the night at Alysa's house and we got time to catch up on what had happened in life since the last time we had seen eachother. So all in all I had a really fun last to days.

Today I think Sammy and I are going to town to pick up stuff for the Youth group halloween party. But I'm not sure.

brief news flash..

Sorry I havent posted for awhile. I just dont really have any news. Mom and dad buchered the last of the chickens today. I leave for Hawaii in 20 days. I'm still not sure where I'm going to school when I get back. I do have a new idea tho I might go to a school in Iowa and stay with one of my friends there. I'd be able to take some tenth grade classes I think and then finish up my nineth grade ones. Mkk thats about all I have for news.

Another insignificant post in History

Wow it's been along time since I posted on here.

Since I last posted many things have happened but I'm sure I'm not going to remember them all. First off School started.

This year all my school aged siblings are going to public school. I'm still at home though I may start school again about second quarter but I'm not sure about it. The reason I'm at home is because I can't skip three weeks of school when I go to Hawaii. The reason I might now go back to school is because I'm thinking about working towards graduating early.

Yesterday Sunday school started but that didn't effect me this year. Last night we had a youth group meeting to plan the shootout for this year.

The shootout is scheduled for next Saturday, hopefully it will be fun!

Oh and one more thing I'm going to be Lady Gaga for Halloween.

Vacation

For vacation this year we went to Duluth and stayed there for a few days and then headed up to Gunflint lake to stay with some family friends. It is totally beautiful there!! Several of us went for a really long hike thing it was like 5 miles, it was really fun!!

After that we went down to by Echo, Minnesota for the Thompson/Faugstad wedding that was really nice. Last Sunday I walked into Echo with Jeremy and Matt. Jeremy wanted to go see some of his school friends and I was going to see Brittany Boyum. It was great seeing Brittany and while I was at her house we had a blast. We stalked houses and people and rode bike around Echo. It was really fun!!

We got back monday really late and then Yesterday we had dentist appointments for several of the other kids. Today were busy unpacking and getting everything unpacked. Jeremys busy packing up for school. I think that's everything.

The best times!!

I had one of the best weeks of my life this last week. On last Monday Barb brought me and the rest of the LYA people from our church down to Mankato. We went to Kay Millers house, Kay organized almost everything for the bus trip and a lot for LYA, she is a wonderful person! At Kays she told us all where we would be staying the night. Sammy and I ended up staying with our wonderful camp cabin mate Brittany, at another cabin mate Martha's house.

The next morning we left from Mt. Olive at 6:30am. WAY to early for me but at least we got to Virginia. That night we stopped at a church in Ohio and had pizza, devotion then went to bed.

That day we got to sleep in we didn't have to leave till 7:00 -by the way for those of you who don't know me that well I'm being sarcastic about sleeping in- :). We arrived to go White Water rafting a little after noon. White Water Rafting was a BLAST!! It was so much fun I definitely recommend it if u have an extra $50 laying around and you are in the area.

The next day we got to Virginia Beach early so we stopped at First landing state park. It is beautiful there and really HOT. But that's okay by me because I love heat, sun and the ocean. After we left there we went to the collage Norfolk State University the campus is wonderful and the dorms are so nice.

On Friday we went to Virginia Beach and Boardwalk. That place is amazing the beach is so beautiful and the waves are amazing. Stuff is pretty well priced not cheap but not to spendy. And I got a tattoo, one of the temporary ones the like dye your skin for two months. Well don't trust them mine lasted four days. It was really cute though and I think when I turn eighteen I'm going to get one.

Saturday we went to the Jamestown settlement and the to a cruise ship. It was really fun there was a dance on the cruise and we ate pizza, played cards and danced.

We left Sunday after church and headed to Washington DC it took FOREVER to get there but it was worth it. We got out and walked around a bit we saw the white house and walked to several of the memorials. It's really pretty layout there and if you've never been there I suggest it.
